Swed-jam AB was founded in 1982 and is located in Torsby, in the western part of Sweden. 
Production of jam, based on lingonberries, cloudberries and blueberries – berries growing 
wildly in the surroundings of Torsby – was the starting-point. Since 1982, Swed-jam has 
grown, and today the turnover is more than 100 million SEK. The product program consists 
besides jam also of marmalades, juices, beverages, fruit soups, fruit compotes and jellies.
From using mainly raw materials from the Scandinavian forests, we now use the best of fruits 
and berries from all over the world. Our skilled and committed staff make the very best 
products from this. That's why our products, known under the brands Familjens and Kalas, 
always taste so good!
